Super-fast broadband pledge by Lancashire County Council ??

January 27th, 2012

“It said it would also set up a £500,000 community fund to connect the remote areas not covered in the main scheme, with the area to the east of Lancaster being the first to benefit. These areas will receive access to at least 2Mbps.”

What’s your view?

1. Does a £ 32,000,000 investment justify only a 2Mbps service being provided in rural areas?

2. Will the £500,000 offered provide sufficient funding for those not covered by the project at all?
